If you’re not single, your task on Day 14 of The 28 Day Abundant Practice Challenge is to make time for your husband (spouse, fiancé, partner, boyfriend, etc).

A Mother of Abundance is often very busy.  Because we’re conscientious, we often put business before pleasure.  The thing is, we need to remember that pleasure is essential for balance.  A happy home serves as a strong foundation for everything else we do.  A happy marriage is a fundamental ingredient.

A few things you could do include:

  • An early night for intimacy
  • A spa night in the bathroom.  This is great if your bath is big enough
  • Watch a box set or TV series together regularly
  • Enjoy a special meal that you prepare together or one of you prepares for both of you
  • Go to the cinema together
  • Go out for a meal together
  • Meet for lunch from time-to-time

How you behave to one another either side of these events is also very important.

Speak to your husband nicely, be caring and considerate.  Make time to share how your day has been.  Sound like something out of a 1950s women’s magazine?  Well here’s the bit that brings us up to date:  This should be mutual!  Hopefully, you’re with someone who’s deserving of this treatment and who willingly reciprocates.  I’m not about to advocate that you give your attention to someone who doesn’t care about you.

Do you make enough time for your husband?  Do you invest in your relationship or do you find it difficult to make time for the one you love? I’d love to hear from you below.
